Tricia Chan
Chan is a veteran media “influencer” and strategist who over the past 24 years has raised the visibility of corporations and executives from established giants such as Hewlett Packard (NYSE: HPQ) and Apple Computer, Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL), to incubated start-ups such as Guru.com, Digital Entertainment Network (DEN), an entertainment destination, and Nuance Communications (Nasdaq: NUAN).
She has applied her tenure in the consumer-driven technology industry to the consumer packaged goods world for the past 15 years, and is enjoying representing “tangible consumer businesses” and innovators such as, fuseProject, HalfUnited, Rios Clementi Hale, littleBits, Nicole Miller, MacLaren, Philippe Starck, PracticeWell, Skip Hop, Tracy Reese, leading Japanese animation artists VIZ, industrial designer, Yves Behar and more.
Chan has counseled multiple clients to direct interim management team marketing efforts, venture capital positioning, represent nascent research developments from Stanford Research Institute (SRI), mergers and acquisitions for media conglomerates Ziff Davis and International Data Group, and authored white papers, competitive analysis, audits and valuations studies. Chan also spent several years as a financial analyst for new media at Deutsche Banc.
Prior to heading to Wall Street, Chan worked for Apple Computer where she led the marketing communications efforts to launch networking technologies, QuickTime and the precursor to today’s Palm Pilot, The Apple Newton.
